HARCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTERS
The best football club supporters in the world are those of Harchester United!

Since the clubs formation, the number of supporters has grown from a small base within the town of Harchester, to the whole midlands, to a nationwide following... and now there is support on a worldwide scale.

There are 15,000 season ticket holders out of 30,000 in the Dragon's Lair on a matchday, along with millions watching at home worldwide.

After attending matches or watching them on TV, Dragons supporters enjoy talking about the events on the day in our Forum!



THE MASCOT - HARCHIE THE DRAGON
Harchie The Dragon was first introduced as the Official Mascot of Harchester United in the 1994/95 season.

Following United's promotion to the Premier League, the club wanted to have a mascot that would capture the immagination of supporters both young and old, and Harchie does exactly that.

At around 7.5ft tall, Harchie is the tallest member of Harchester United and is definately the most loved when it comes to young supporters.

As well as attending home matches, Harchie can also be spotted at various commercial and charity functions in and around Harchester.



SUPPORTERS GROUPS - OFFICIAL HARCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTERS CLUB
The Official Harchester United Supporters Club has been running since July 1975 and is the clubs number one way of keeping in touch with it’s supporters and season ticket holders.

Being a member of this club entitles you to apply for a season ticket as well as apply for tickets on a match by match basis. You can also vote for your favourite players in the annual ‘Official Supporters Club Awards’ and you are also invited to the annual ‘Meet The Players’ Pre-season Open day.

SUPPORTERS GROUPS - HARCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION
Not the official supporters club, but does look after the supporters best interests.

Set up in August 1986 by founder member Des Baker, the Association sets up unofficial travel to away games and holds regular meetings to discuss important issues at the club.

SUPPORTERS GROUPS - HARCHESTER CULTURAL REFORMATION COMMITTEE
An unknown supporters group for many years that finally came to light in the press in the late 80’s following years of hooligan activity.

The group had thought to have disbanded in the early 90s until a high-profile return in February 2005 when members of the group stormed and barricaded the club, just hours before an FA Cup 5th Round tie with Southampton.

Local Police have stated that the group has once again disbanded.



MATCHDAY FROM A FANS POINT OF VIEW - PRE-MATCH
Pre-Match at the Dragons Lair is always a pleasant environment. With friendly groups regular holding meet’s outside the ground before entering, there are also dozens of huge stalls upon entry to the Lair that sell unofficial yet pleasant merchandise.

A regular stall-holder outside the ground is lifelong Dragon, John Stone. John’s stall can be found almost right outside the turnstiles at the Lair and always has a full range of both unofficial and official merchandise.

MATCHDAY FROM A FANS POINT OF VIEW - MID-MATCH
During the match, fans find themselves inside the Dragons Lair watching 90 minutes of the most exciting and passionate football the Premiership can produce.

From the likes of Ronaldo to Fletcher, Messi to Presley, The Dragons Lair has witnessed it all.

MATCHDAY FROM A FANS POINT OF VIEW - POST-MATCH
Win, Lose or Draw at the Dragons Lair, the supporters of Harchester United always exit the ground trouble free.
