Sean Campbell arrived at Harchester United in the January 2007 transfer window. He impressed many at Southend with such great midfield quality at such a young age and did so too with the Dragons.
After a poor start to his Dragons career, he went on to be a valuable part of the team that went on to win the 2006/07 Premiership title. He won over many fans during his time including David Moyes at Everton - the club he left for in 2010.
After a successful season in 2006/07 in which Campbell picked up a Premier League winners medal, Sean had to miss out much of the following year after being imprisoned along with team-mates Gavin Moody and Miguel Lopez for failing to report a crime and lying to police.
Eventually, during the 2008/09 season, Campbell returned to the form he once had. |
