Sean Hocknell was awarded a professional contract with the Dragons in May 1998 after being inspirational in the youth set up.

Upon his arrival in the first team, he set up a great partnership with Karl Fletcher that'd inspire the club to FA Cup glory at the end of the 1998/99 season. When Fletcher left the club, Hocknell struggled but regained his form away to Ajax - only to be tragically killed hours later.
