Luis Amor Rodriguez recieved a hostile reception upon his first arrival to Harchester in which fans were chanting "Go Home, Go Home" - but they'd soon learn to love to once troublesome striker.

Instantly on his debut, Rodriguez set up one goal for Karl Fletcher and scored another himself. This would be the story of the Argentine's season who would later replace Ian Coates as manager.

On the pitch, things couldn't have been better for Rodriguez's team, but off it, there were always problems. The Argentine himself was accused yet later cleared of assaulting Sean Hocknell's wife, Mica.

None of this would hamper the club's quest for success as Rodriguez and his men went all the way to Wembley and secured the FA Cup with victory in the final over Manchester United.

The following season was a struggle. Rodriguez suffered a serious knee injury and was out of the game for nearly five months. During that time, he quit as manager following a bust up with chairman Jerry Block.

It emerged that Rodriguez had been having an affair with Block's wife Lynda and when Lynda became the club's owner, she agreed to let him go back to Argentina - but not before he saved the club from relegation!
