Danny Rawsthorne made an impact in the first team on his debut by scoring within the first 15 minutes in a 4-0 win over Bradford City. He also went on to set up goals for Scott Lucas.
From that moment on, Rawsthorne had cemented his place in Harchester United's first team and went on to be a part of the team that finished 3rd in the league - he also scored the goal to secure that.
In his second season, Rawsthorne carried on where he'd left off before and also went on to be made the new club captain by new manager Patrick Doyle.
As the Dragons marched on to the UEFA Cup Final, Rawsthorne began his international career - choosing to play for Ireland. Sadly, he never got to play in the World Cup as he was killed in the coach crash.
