Jason Porter was the hat trick hero for Harchester United this afternoon as the Champions moved 6 points clear at the top of the Premier League and stretch their unbeaten league run to 51 matches.

However, it was Porter's heroic display that will be remembered by the supporters within the JJB Stadium this afternoon as he gave everything to the cause of the club he's loved since a young boy.

Ryan Naysmith took the ball from Jason Koumas in midfield and intentionally meant to set up Diego Forlan, however instead Porter took the ball and struck a sweet shot from 30 yards into the top corner.

Porter doubled the lead in the 56th minute when he headed from a Liam Mackay corner. He completed his track and the victory in the 78th minute with a fantastic solo goal which left Latics captain Kevin Kilbane devastated.
