BIRMINGHAM CITY - 0 - 1 - HARCHESTER UNITED

It may have been a struggle in this big midlands derby at St.Andrews this afternoon, but Harchester United are back to winning ways in the Premier League.

However, the champions didn't have it all their own way and it was the struggling home side that, in fact, dominated the game throughout. They just couldn't convert the chances they created.

In the second half, a mistake by Ben Futcher let in Mikael Forssell but he couldn't only hit the side-netting from such a tight angle. The blues then created a number of chances but Alex O'Mare kept them at bay.

Heading into injury time and Ryan Naysmith was pulled down in the box by Martin Taylor but nothing was given by referee Martin Atkinson. Naysmith then picked himself up to set up Gerwaint Thomas to score the winner.
