Harchester United found this afternoons tie away to Sunderland very tough at the Stadium of Light, but did manage to come away with the victory and all three points.

On paper, it should have been an easy victory over the struggling Mackems. However, the tough game in midweek away to Real Madrid had clearly took its toll on the Dragons players.

Liam Mackay though was a fantastic leader as always in the Dragons midfield and his Sunderland counterpart Dean Whitehead was of equal stature.

Neither side had many chances in the game, although former Dragon Carlos Edwards came close but Alex O'Mare pulled off a great save. The winning goal came from a Simon Becky free kick in the 72nd minute.
