HARCHESTER UNITED - 0 - 0 - FULHAM

Harchester United were held to a goal-less draw by relegation threatened Fulham at the Dragons Lair this evening.

Liam Mackay was left frustrated towards the end of the game as the Dragons skipper's effort appeared to clearly cross the line, but linesman Jim Devine failed to award the goal as did referee Steve Bennett. Replays later showed to the ball did in fact cross the line.

Earlier in the match, Fulham striker David Healy came close to opening the scoring but Nej Husain had another good game in the Dragons net and saved from close distance.

Mackay came close moments before the goal-line incident, but his effort was cleared. The game remained goal-less but will always be remembered for the goal that never was.
