FULHAM - 0 - 1 - HARCHESTER UNITED

For only the third time in nine matches, Harchester United managed to get themselves a goal - but only from the penalty spot. The important thing though is that for only the second time in the league in 2008, the Champions managed to pick up all three points in a match.

Fulham may be struggling at the foot of the table, but they should have easily won this game as they were all over the Champions this afternoon.

But it was the penalty awarded against Fulham defender Paul Stalteri that proved the turning point in the game. Stalteri pulled down Liam Mackay in the box and referee Howard Webb gave the Dragons the spot kick.

Jamie Cheeseman then decided he was going to take the penalty and struck calmly past Kasey Keller to give the Dragons all three points. But Fulham weren't happy and continued to protest the penalty decision.
