MANCHESTER CITY - 2 - 1 - HARCHESTER UNITED

Harchester United through away a 1-0 lead at the City of Manchester Stadium, to lose there for the first time with two late goals sealing a win for the home side, Manchester City.

The champions held the lead in the game for around 83 minutes after Johnny Carlisle headed into the back of the net thanks to a sublime curling Ryan Naysmith corner.

Throughout the rest of the game, the Dragons were in complete control and could have easily doubled their lead. Instead, chances from the likes of Gavin Moody were wasted.

With just 5 minutes remaining, Moody tried to play the ball back to Nej Husain in goal but it was seazed on by Emile Mpenza who equalised for City. Just a minute later, they took the lead and went on to win the game as Martin Petrov slotted home past Husain to make it 2-1.
