HARCHESTER UNITED - 1 - 1 - SUNDERLAND

Another late goal against Harchester United cost them all three points this afternoon against a struggling Sunderland side.

The point may does not do Harchester United any favours at all as their hopes of retaining the Premier League title are certainly now over, but also their hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League once again are fading fast.

Gavin Moody gave the Champions a 1-0 lead midway through the first half. Liam Mackay was fouled by Dean Whitehead on the edge of the box and referee Rob Styles gave a free kick from which Moody scored.

In the second half, the Dragons again failed to put away any chances which would have sewn up the game and it proved costly as Anthony Stokes rattled in a rebound after Michael Chopra had hit the post.
