MANCHESTER UNITED - 3 - 1 - HARCHESTER UNITED

Cristiano Ronaldo proved to once again be the key player for Manchester United as the home side moved closer to taking their opponents Premier League crown with a 3-1 at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Both sides progressed to the Semi Finals of the Champions League in midweek, but sadly for Harchester United they were without their key player Gavin Moody who was still serving his 5 game domestic ban.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave the home side the lead after 12 minutes after Anderson played a calm ball into the box which Johnny Carlisle failed to clear. It was 2-0 just before half time thanks to a Ryan Giggs free kick.

In the second half, Miguel Lopez had a shot which deflected off John O'Shea into the back of the net to make it 2-1. But Ronaldo then went on a blistering run to set up Wayne Rooney to round off a 3-1 victory.
