HARCHESTER UNITED - 1 - 1 - CHELSEA

Miguel Lopez failed to inspire Harchester United to a victory over Chelsea which would have given the side a psychological advantage for when the sides meet in the Champions League Semi Finals on Tuesday.

Instead, it was Michael Essien that could have given Chelsea the edge mentally with his last gasp equaliser to salvage a point for the away side in this gritty contest.

The match was a close contest between both sides. Jimmy Craig and his counterpart Avram Grant had clearly been working on attacking football in training this past week with the amount of chances created in the match.

Miguel Lopez scored the opening goal of the game after 57 minutes thanks to a sublime pass by Ryan Naysmith. The Dragons were looking to hold out until Essien got on the end of a Shaun Wright-Phillips cross.
