HARCHESTER UNITED - 2 - 0 - PORTSMOUTH

A Miguel Lopez brace has given Harchester United the perfect chance of finishing 5th this season and thus qualifying for the UEFA Cup for next season after a 2-0 win over Portsmouth.

Following Everton's loss to Arsenal, the Dragons are just 2 points behind the Toffees now going into the final day next weekend which sees Everton at home to Newcastle and Harchester United away to Derby County.

Papa Bouba Diop gifted Lopez his first goal of the game in the first half after accidently playing the ball into the Spaniards path which gave the striker a clear run at David James to put the ball into the net to make it 1-0.

Lopez's second goal was a fine solo effort from the edge of the box after a fantastic tackle from Diop in midfield by Liam Mackay played the ball into the path of Lopez to make it 2-0.
