STEAUA BUCHAREST - 0 - 2 - HARCHESTER UNITED

Harchester United kicked off their second ever adventure into the UEFA Champions League group stage with 2-0 win away to Steaua Bucharest in Romania.

The travelling Dragons fans were not disappointed with their teams performance as they took their domestic form into Europe. There was also a good reception from the away end for former Dragon Andrei Belanov.

Infact it was Belanov who came close to opening the scoring from a corner but luckily Alex O'Mare was on hand to save. The away side took the lead in the 19th minute through Miguel Lopez scoring his first European goal.

The second half was controlled by the Dragons. Jimmy Craig decided to bring off key players towards the end with Arsenal in mind and it was the returning Darren Tyson who scored on 83 minutes to make it 2-0.
