HARCHESTER UNITED - 2 - 0 - L'ORIENT

Harchester United have progressed to the group stages of the UEFA Cup following a 2-0 win over French side L'Orient. But it has come at a cost of several players picking up suspensions.

Luiz Costa was given a straight red card in the 85th minute for a foul not even worthy of a yellow card and will now miss the next 3 UEFA Cup matches. Ryan Naysmith also picked up 2 yellow cards in the game and was sent off.

Marcos Rosteen and Paul Robinson picked up yellow cards which followed up to their bookings recieved in the first leg, so they will also be suspended.

Meanwhile, it was thanks to Costa in the first half that Harchester United had the 2-0 lead that eventually took the Dragons through. His first was a wonderful solo effort in the 13th minute drilled past L'Orient's Cappone.

The 2nd came in the 37th minute thanks to a deflection off of Oscar Ewolo.
