Harchester United's longest
serving player Darren Tyson is set to be released from the club at the end
of the season after not being offered a new contract by the club.
Tyson signed for the club in February 2003 from West Bromwich Albion and
made his debut just a week later against West Ham. He was the last signing
made by then-manager Patrick Doyle.
Since then he has enjoyed much success at the club including scoring the
brace in the 2006 FA Cup Final which won the Dragons the Cup over Arsenal.
One supporter said "It'll be sad to see him leave after everything he's done
for the club, but the timing is about right now." |
