Everton today completed and
unveiled the signing of Harchester United midfielder Sean Campbell for a fee
believed to be around £7million.
At the press conference in Merseyside today, Everton manager David Moyes
said "Sean is a fantastic player and somebody I've been keeping my eye on
for some time.
"We made the enquiry last week and were told we could sign him for the right
price so I did everything I could to make it happen."
Campbell, who signed for the Dragons in January 2007 from Southend and went
on to win the Premier League there, said "I want to thank all the fans at
Harchester for a great time, but this is a whole new chapter and I can't
wait." |
