Harchester United have today
confimed that Portuguese international striker Luiz Costa has completed his
transfer to the club for Benfica for a fee believed to be around £14million.
The 25 year old striker has played for Benfica his whole career notching
up 247 appearances and 105 goals. He has also made 22 appearances for the
Portugual national side scoring 7 goals, including 2 at the Euro 2008
championships.
Costa will officially be unveiled at a press conference on 1st August along
with fellow new signing Juan-Carlos Xaviero.
