Harchester United players were shocked and knew nothing about the news of Biloo Kapoor’s missing Gulfstream 3 when they arrived at East Midlands Airport this morning.

Rescue helicopters took to the skies at first light to search the English Channel for survivors. The plane containing Harchester United’s Luis Amor Rodriguez, Sean Hocknell, Leon Richards, Gary Blackburn and Vitkor Tankayev was approaching the south coast five miles west of Dover when the Mayday signal was received.

Coastguards joined the search and police have been on the lookout for wreckage that might have been washed up on the beaches. But so far, sadly no sign of anything. It’s as if the plane has completely disappeared from the skies.
