Herrera joined up with his former Real Madrid boss in October 2008 to become assistant manager at Harchester United.
Herrera played for Real Madrid throughout his entire career before a cruciate ligament injury ended it at the age of 27 in February 2006.
He was a Champions League winner in 1998, 2000 and 2002.

Former Dragons keeper Alex O'Mare was offered the role as a coach after retiring from the game due to injury in December 2010.
Alex O'Mare is a huge part of the coaching staff thesedays and brings bags of experience at every level.
O'Mare won the Premier League in 2007, FA Cup in 2006 as well as reaching the Carling Cup Final that year too and also reached the Champions League Semi Finals in 2008.

Simon Shakeshaft, aka Shakey to those at the club, became Physio following the Cardiff Coach Explosion in 2005.
Shakey is a gifted Physio and a genius at his craft - he has been responsible for bringing players back from injury at a pace quicker than expected.
His work kept players fit and healthy on the way to winning the Premier League in 2006/07 and would love to repeat this feat again in the future.
